My writing group Warrah Writers, sometimes ventures from the old hall at Warrah, to inspire our creativity and expand our horizons.

The April meeting was held at a new gallery in Willow Tree, run by artist Robyn Marhene.

We sat on the shady verandah overlooking the new garden and wrote poems related to various decades of our lives. Rick Wright set the tempo and kept the group under control…not an easy task as he was the only male present that day!

Robyn showed us around the Random Rural Gallery and then provided a feast for lunch.

She is part of a group called the Liverpool Plains Collective and they have an exhibition opening in Gunnedah from the 19th April…Paintbrushes and Pens.
