The old Blue Tractor

We have to go out to one of the back paddocks to retrieve the old blue tractor.

We’ve only had 3 mm of rain so we should get there up the black soil tracks.

On the way we see a number of young wedge tailed eagles above us.

One sits on a dead tree and lets me get quite close before it soars off.

All the cows look blissfully happy and take no notice of us.

We get the tractor back with no mishaps.

I have worn a polar fleece top, so now of course it is studded with prickly sticky beaks, which will have to be scraped off.

The showers start as we get home. We stop to admire the myriad of autumn leaves on the Chinese Pistachio tree.

Time for a cuppa and then to start cooking French Onion Soup.
